Booking procedure
A deposit will be required at point of booking.
You may secure your accommodation using a credit card the details from which may be used in the case of a late cancellation or damage to the property at the Guest House.
Alternatively a cheque or other suitable form of payment can be used prior to guests' arrival for the cost of the agreed deposit.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made 1 day (24hrs) before prior to arrival.
Deposits are non refundable.
If the guest needs to cancel during their stay we reserve the right to charge for the remainder of the period booked.
Liability
Guests' liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable in the event any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, whether caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the Guest House's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make the charge on the guest's credit/debit card.
Lost/damaged property
Should any guest lose any belongings during their stay or incur damage to their property, the provisions of the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956 will apply, a copy of which available on request.
If we find any lost property we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner and return it, but if an item is not reclaimed within 1 month of the guest's departure it will be disposed of by us.
Payment Terms
A charge of 3% is made for credit card payments to cover bank charges.
Check in/Out Times
Arrival time is to be agreed at point of booking, but no later than 9.00pm unless by prior agreement. In the case of non arrival the price of the accommodation will be charged to your credit / debit card.
Check-out is by 10.00 am. Any extension to the check out time, either pre-arranged or as a late departure, may incur a charge upon departure.
Luggage
At our discretion we will keep luggage after departure, but we cannot take any responsibility for its loss or damage.
Smoking
We are a completely smoke free establishment. If a guest has been smoking and caused damage or rendered the room unusable due to smoking then we reserve the right to charge the guest on his debit/credit card to make good the room and for any loss of revenue. This is in addition to the £80 statutory fine which is imposed for smoking in a public place.
